There are many tactics when it comes to generating coverage. From running large content campaigns, data-led content pieces, visuals, to real-life stories, reacting to journalists requests, newsjacking and piggybacking on news.

However, whatever tactic we do, we need to make sure it’s relevant and timely. For that, having an event calendar is vital.

It’s quite time-consuming to create one, collecting all national and international days, national and international events and other news that could be relevant to your brand or client.
